The Rental Conditions apply to the gîte L'écrin Grand Panorama, located at 2 chemin de Sainte Croix in Carcassonne.
I. GENERAL PROVISIONS
The rental contract is established between the tenant and Cédric Migrenne, entrepreneur, SIREN n° 529.537.359, Loueur de Meublé Professionnel, whose head office is located at 13 chemin des Anglais, Carcassonne, France.
II. OCCUPATION OF THE PREMISES
The tenant will enjoy the gîte in a peaceful manner and will make good use of it, in accordance with the purpose of the premises. Parties and soirées are forbidden without written authorization from the owner.
On departure, the tenant undertakes to return the gîte in the condition in which it was found. We will clean the gîte at the end of your stay in accordance with normal use. In the event of non-conforming use, the tenant will be billed for professional restoration.
Under no circumstances may the tenant claim any right to remain in the rented premises at the end of the period initially agreed.
III. RESERVATION - TERMS OF PAYMENT
The reservation becomes effective when the tenant has made payment in accordance with the terms and conditions of the chosen tariff, which constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale.
IV. DEPOSIT
The tenant's bank imprint is kept until the departure date by STRIPE, the company in charge of securing payments. The deposit may be requested in the form of a French cheque or deposited by bank transfer to the owner's account. In the latter case, the owner undertakes to reimburse the amount of the deposit by bank transfer no later than 10 days after the tenant's departure if no damage or breach of contract is noted.
As the gîte is considered to be spotless, you agree to report any damage/impacts/defects you may notice on the day of your arrival.
In the event of non-compliance with the rental conditions or damage caused during your stay, the amount corresponding to the damage will be deducted from your credit card. A supplement will be requested if the amount of the damage exceeds the amount of the deposit. The tenant must check his civil liability insurance to ensure that he is covered for any damage caused during his stay.
V. INSURANCE
The tenant is responsible for all damage caused by him/her. He must be covered by a holiday insurance policy for these various risks.
VI. NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
Under no circumstances may the number of occupants exceed the maximum authorized capacity. Failure to comply with this condition will result in the immediate exclusion of the tenant, who will not be entitled to any reimbursement.
Under no circumstances may the rental be used by third parties.
VII. PETS
Pets are welcome, subject to written authorization from the owner and to compliance with the following rules:
- Animals must not be left alone in the gîte,
- The tenant agrees to pay for any damage caused by animals,
- For obvious reasons of hygiene, animals must not climb on bedding, sofas or any other furniture.
- Pets are strictly forbidden from entering the swimming areas.
VIII. SWIMMING POOL AND SPA
Regular maintenance of the spa and swimming pool is the responsibility of the owner. Should the tenant notice any malfunction or anomaly, he/she must immediately notify the owner or his/her representative.
It is the tenant's responsibility to ensure that safety rules are observed in the swimming area, and to supervise people, especially young children.
In the event of any danger or technical incident, the owner may decide to close the bathing area. He will do his utmost to allow the bathing area to reopen as soon as possible, but the hirer will not be entitled to any compensation in this case.
In the event of an order issued by local or national authorities prohibiting the filling of swimming pools or spas, access to the pool and spa will no longer be possible for the tenant. The Hirer will not be entitled to any compensation in this case.
IX. Games and grounds
The use of the games is the responsibility of the tenant.
The grounds are regularly maintained by the owner. Part of the grounds may be left uncut to protect the flora and fauna. The ground is fenced, but there may be holes in the fence for which the owner cannot be held responsible if one of the tenant's animals escapes.
X. INTERRUPTION OF STAY
In the event of early termination of the stay by the tenant, no refund will be made.
XI. CANCELLATION OF STAY
Cancellation by the tenant: see conditions relating to the chosen rate.
Cancellation by the owner: if the owner has to cancel, he will reimburse all sums paid by the tenant within 15 days.
XII. DISPUTES
In the event of disagreement between the owner and the tenant, and in the absence of an amicable agreement, the matter will be referred to the tribunal de grande instance de Carcassonne.
