From Tuesday, May 21st, to Thursday, May 23rd, we had the pleasure of hosting Carmen Pineda (Vinos y Caminos / Etheria Magazine) for a press trip rich in cultural, gastronomic, and wine-themed discoveries. Settled at L'écrin Grand Panorama, Carmen had the opportunity to fully immerse herself in the charm and beauty of our region.

Wednesday, May 22nd: Discovering Carcassonne 🏰

The day began with a guided tour of the Carcassonne Citadel in the company of the Carcassonne Tourism Office. Carmen then explored the activities of the Medieval Camp, and later discovered the Bastide and the Canal du Midi, accompanied by the Aude Departmental Tourism Agency (ADT). A day full of wonders and encounters that allowed Carmen to appreciate the cultural and historical richness of our city.

Thursday, May 23rd: Escapade to Narbonne

Carmen continued her journey to Narbonne, where she discovered the city center during a pleasant stroll around the market halls and the Historic Center. The day ended with a captivating visit to the Narbo Via Museum, dedicated to Roman Antiquity. An escapade that offered Carmen a fascinating glimpse of the cultural diversity of our region.

This press trip was made possible thanks to the support of the Regional Committee for Tourism and Recreation of Occitania and their RailTour project, as well as the direct train line between Narbonne and Madrid!
